Oh boy... How did I get here? On a ship full of pirates? That's not the problem. The problem is most of them are loud, except for a young lady reading a book. I'm guessing that the captain, whom I've heard been called Luffy, dragged me here saying that I should be his nakama and have adventures with him. Sadly, I was going to sneak off but they already set sail. I'm just gonna have to deal with this.. predicament.
*Months later*
"Y/N!" I sighed. I learned that Luffy isn't really a bad guy but, he's stubborn and never changes his mind once it's made. Well, I better see what he wants. I walked out of my comforting room, which I share with Robin, and headed to the deck.
"Yes Luffy?" There were hands on the side of his head and he made a face resembling Chopper, our ship's doctor.
"Chopper~! I want cotton candy!" He imitated the reindeer well but, I didn't laugh. He pouted and asked,"It wasn't funny enough?"
I shook my head. "It was a well imitation but personally I did not think it was funny. Sorry, Luffy."
I went back to my room and grabbed a book then came back to the deck to see Luffy was gone. What is he up to..?
I shrugged and sat in one of the chairs on the deck.
"Y/N-swaaan!" I saw Sanji 'walk' well, noodle over to me with a tray in his hand.
"I made you a strawberry kiwi parfait! Your favorite!" He put it on the table beside me and I smiled softly. That is awfully sweet of him. He placed a small spoon on a napkin next to my parfait and noodled off to somewhere. Probably to bother Nami or Robin. I ate part of my parfait and sat it down and continued to read my book. I went to reach for it again but it was gone! I saw Luffy stuffing my parfait in his mouth. I clenched my fist and slammed my book closed.
I'm usually a quiet person. Usually. Right now I'm heated.
"LUFFY! YOU ATE MY PARFAIT!" I roared in rage. He licked the cup then looked at me for a moment and smiled!
I could see my aura being a dark red. I clenched my fist tighter then quickly walked up to Luffy and hit him upside the head... with accidental full force. He was laying below deck, I broke the floor. Oops. I looked around and saw my crew staring at me quite shocked. Maybe it was because I yell..? Oh yeah.. The floor. I chuckled nervously and looked down at Luffy, which was at the moment, sleeping?! I felt infuriated again and I stomped up to me and Robin's room and slammed the door.
*A week later*
We docked at a new island finally! It's been a week since I have last talked to Luffy. Nami assigned me to Luffy so he wouldn't cause trouble. I waved him over and started walking. I may or may not have been holding a grudge because of last week's incident. I didn't speak to him the whole day. It was now nightfall and me and Luffy were walking back to the ship and he grabbed my arm as he stopped walking. I turned to him and he looked.. sad. I almost broke my facade and talked to him. I looked at him with a blank face, as in what?
"Y/N, I'm sorry I ate your parfait. It was your favorite. Sanji told me that. I really miss you talking to me. You not talking to me is like me not have meat for a week! Please say something." He looked at me with pleading eyes. I sighed and moved my dark (h/c) hair out of my face.
"You're an idiot.." I chuckled softly and smiled. At that moment, fireworks shot up into the sky, illuminating beautiful colors. A warm pair of lips met my cheek. I flushed pink and looked over at Luffy.
"What? What was that for?" I held my cheek and stared at him wanting an answer.
"Nami said it would make you feel better!" Oh, that explains a lot. I guess I have another grudge to hold. Nami get ready.

The Light That Shines Through The Dark:Chapter 3
I woke up on the cold, stiff dirt. I didn't see the fox, how long was I out? The sun was shining through the leaves of the trees and It seems that I was on the edge of an opening. The tall grass swayed in the wind and someone standing in the middle of the field caught my eye and they turned toward me. I stood and slowly walked toward the figure. As I got closer I noticed the glowing golden eyes.
"Fox? Is that you?" The figure just nodded and started toward me. When he approached me, he remained silent.
"What's wrong..?" Then I noticed... His hair was black, not his usual orange-brown. "You aren't Fox..." The figure smirked and reached it's
The Light That Shines Through The Dark: Chapter 2
My body shivered as the thought passed through my mind. Me as the last person of the human race? Impossible!
" No, not the human race, because you are not just human. You are not only human but a Ninoshi warrior that is born every decade, making a cycle. Now that they are becoming scarce, people will be coming for your bounty or your head, but since you are a special breed, your price will be raised. Usually the baby dies in the womb because of the races fighting each other, but within you was a peace between the two. You are the last Ninoshi Warrior, the last of their blood."
" If I'm the last, does that mean one of my parents ar
The Light That Shines Through The Dark: Chapter 1
I opened my eyes to a blinding light and unfamiliar sounds of animals. The sun, setting in the wrong direction, seemed like something was pushing it. It took time for my eyes to adjust, and at that time, I wish it didn't. All around me, forests burned and animals fled, the panicking looks of a little fox landed on me. " You should head to the shrine " It said, my gaze followed the fox, until it was out of sight. I tried to stand, my legs were like noodles, they hurt and only fell underneath me. I wondered why, why was I so cold? The fires were supposed to emit heat. " I've got you, come on, " A voice from behind me quietly spoke, and slowly p

...You didn't seem the type for writing fanfiction. Although, it's a lot better than the crap I wrote back in 7th grade.
